Yang Sunlei ,holds a Doctor of Management (Accounting) from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. She is an associate professor and master's supervisor at Wuhan Textile University. She is a non-practicing member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a leading talent in accounting in Hubei Province. She was a visiting scholar at California State University, Stanislaus, USA.

Her research focuses on the disclosure of earnings forecasts and corporate governance. She has led and participated in multiple provincial and ministerial-level scientific research and teaching reform projects. She has published over 10 papers in professional journals such as the Journal of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and the Journal of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics. She has also authored one monograph and co-authored or edited five textbooks.
