Member of China Society of Logistics, Member of China Storage and Distribution Association, Coach and Referee of Foreign Trade Logistics Examination Center of China Foreign Trade Association; concurrently serving as Deputy Secretary-General of Hubei Society of Logistics, Director of Logistics Teaching Professional Steering Committee of Hubei Higher Education Association, and Editorial Board Member of Central China Logistics Special Committee.
With over 30 years of experience in teaching and research in the fields of logistics and supply chain management and entrepreneurship management, he mainly undertakes logistics teaching for undergraduates and also takes charge of core courses for postgraduates. Throughout his academic career, he has successively presided over and completed 3 key and general humanities and social sciences projects of Hubei Provincial Department of Education, 9 research projects of China Society of Logistics, and 2 teaching research projects of Hubei Provincial Department of Education; in addition, he has undertaken 11 research projects, including think-tank projects of Hubei Association for Science and Technology, special projects of Hubei Logistics Development Research Center, and municipal think-tank projects of Ezhou City; he has also participated in 1 national social science fund project.
He has actively undertaken social service projects and has successively completed a number of horizontal cooperation projects such as the 13th Five-Year Logistics Special Plan for Yunxi District, Yueyang City, Hunan Province, the Planning of Flanders Logistics Park in Ningjin, Hebei Province, the Planning of Longyou Highway Logistics Park in Quzhou, Zhejiang Province, the Planning of Sikai International Agricultural Products Logistics Park in Jinzhou, Liaoning Province, and the drafting of the Logistics Promotion Regulations by the Standing Committee of Ezhou Municipal People's Congress, with a total of 20 projects led including logistics park planning and feasibility studies.
He has published more than 60 related academic papers and edited and published 6 textbooks as chief editor; he has also won many honors, including "Outstanding Undergraduate Thesis Advisor of Hubei Province", "Outstanding Communist Party Member of Wuhan Textile University", "University-Level Research Mentor", "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentor", and was specially commended by the School of Management for his outstanding contributions to social services.
His achievements in innovative practical education are particularly remarkable. He has cumulatively guided students to win more than 30 national-level awards in competitions such as the "Challenge Cup", "Internet+", "E-Commerce Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Challenge", and "Engineering Training Competition".
